    About Me

    Community, impact & efficiency.

Everything I do involves bringing people together to work efficiently for the greatest impact. Whether that is streamlining operations and delivering high-quality service to businesses, pulling performers together on stage to be greater than the sum of their parts or hosting and facilitating conversations and collaborations between innovative individuals.

I am passionate about delivering tangible change, truth-telling and weaving our stories together to create a powerful narrative during our short stint on this earth. Driven to harness business and communities as a force for good to leave the world a better place than when we arrived.

I am looking for opportunities in:

    • Copywriting
    • Operations and supply chain positions
    • Arts and music management

Let's connect and see what we can create together!

  • London Amateur Orchestra

    Co-Founder of Symphony Orchestra

In April 2014, with the help of an old friend, I co-founded an orchestra called The Pico Players. As a flautist whose enthusiasm for playing in an orchestra was greater than my talent, I found it difficult to find another group to join. I had an ambitious idea to start an orchestra for people who might have let their musical talents lie dormant while busy pursuing professional lives in London. Over the next couple of years it grew to over 65 regular playing members and remains one of the greatest sources of wonder to me.

Only a handful of players came along to the early rehearsals and it still amazes me that in November 2019, at our 5 year Anniversary Concert, we managed to fill the 900 seats at Cadogan Hall raising over £10,000 for the Choir With No Name in the process. To date we have raised over £70,000 for charity through the proceeds of our concerts.

Players are required to have reached Grade 8 level at some point but we do not hold auditions. In fact, it is a little-known fact that I don't make the criteria of my own orchestra! (Ssssh!) Our repertoire ranges from classical to late romantic works.

    Profile - Marlburian Club

"On my first day at Marlborough, Mr Arkwright hoisted my trunk out of the boot of my parents’ car, saw my surname and said, “ah, Rosie Wintour, Grade 5 flute, see you at Brasser on Tues!” Or something to that effect. My ensemble & orchestra playing was a huge part of my time at school. Inevitably, other things started to take priority at university and I fell out of the habit of playing with others.

It was several years into living & working in London when I realised how much I missed it! Of course by then I was back to being a pretty rusty flautist and not nearly good enough to audition for a coveted spot in anyone else’s orchestra so I decided the safest way was to start my own and then they couldn’t kick me out for being a bit out of practice!"

I have been guest-hosting some of these breakfast events during the pandemic.

I set myself a challenge to meet 5 new people a week during the height of lockdown and these breakfasts were a brilliant way to meet inspiring and innovative individuals and keep serendipitous encounters coming!
